For over 40 years Dr. Howard has taught a fundamental philosophy—your health is your responsibility! Each time he sat down with a new patient, the first thing he asked was “Who is responsible for your health?” The answer is you. The only person who can really improve your health is YOU. By the end of this course, you will understand the value of taking accountability for your own health.

Triad of Health

Dr. Howard developed a simple philosophy to clarify your personal health responsibilities: The Triad of Health. To achieve complete health, you must strive for a balanced life: a combination of Physical, Spiritual, and Chemical health. By taking responsibility for your health and strengthening any two sides of the Triad of Health, the third will naturally be motivated to follow. When you finish this course, you will have set your own personal Triad of Health goals and have the tools to achieve better health.

The Health Curve

The Health Curve is a personal evaluation tool to help you realistically determine where you are with your health, where you want to go, and what it might take to get there. Health is not merely the absence of symptoms. Health is a dynamic process. A healthy body is continually fighting to stay as close to optimal function as possible. In this course, you will get in tune with your body and be guided through rating your overall health. This is a personal evaluation, and you know best where you fall on this curve. Being honest with yourself and noting your current situation makes it possible for you to attain your desired results.

Phytonutrition

Phytonutrition teaches the importance of supplying your body with the phytonutrients it needs through eating whole foods, including a variety of foods rich in color, smell, and taste. Your body is a fantastic chemical laboratory, and the substances you expose it to affect its intricate functions and processes. Whole food nutrition provides the vital chemistry your body needs to maintain, protect, and repair itself. In this course, you will learn how to proactively improve your health through the phytonutrients you give your body.
